Well Architected Framework is AWS service which helps us to evaluate our architecture by answering set of questions. AWS has technical teams who are capable of reviewing infrastructure and they will help us to identify infrastructure best practices at free of cost.
This framework consist of six pillars which is described as below.
- Operational Excellence — ability to support the development process and running workloads which adds business value.
- Security — adding security by protecting data and system with security postures.
- Reliability — ability to provide reliable environment which performs intended functions consistently.
- Performance Efficiency — ability to run workloads which scales and expands based on needs in efficient manner.
- Cost Optimization — providing way to run workloads with minimal cost of expense.
- Sustainability — increasing sustainability by utilizing provisioned resource instead of increasing the total no of systems.
