Pegasus spyware is a software which is developed by NSO Group in Israel.This software can be installed in both android and ios mobiles without the knowledge of concern mobile owner.Many have words “ios phones are highly secured” and here comes this software can explode ios (versions upto 14.6).
It has the power to read messages,tapping of audio calls,tracking of locations.Previously it is owned by american firm now its handled by the founders.And they are saying they will have deal with only authorised governments/government agencies.Its cost upto several million dollars.
Initally Facebook made suit against NSO because they are accessing data of the user and reading messages in whatsapp.Tech giants Microsoft and Google also moved a motion to be joined as parties in Facebook’s legal battle against NSO. Other tech organisations such as Internet Association, GitHub, and LinkedIn also joined the motion.
